Jed Wallace has suggested to News at Den that he has already noticed that Tottenham Hotspur’s Troy Parrott is a ruthless finisher in training.
Parrott left Tottenham to join Millwall at the start of the summer, and although he is yet to play a competitive match for the Lions, the youngster has taken no time to impress.
A video of Parrott’s finishing emerged on social media yesterday, and HITC showed how impressed supporters of both Tottenham and Millwall were.
And it seems that the fans are not the only ones who have taken note of Parrott’s finishing ability.
Wallace, who is Millwall’s chief creative force, also likes what he has seen from the Tottenham loanee.
He said: “He’s only 18-years-old. I was literally just playing with my mates when I was 17 so we can’t expect him to come in and score 50 goals this season. It’s going to be a difficult transition to go from what he was doing to playing in the Championship.
“But you can see already in a couple of days of training that his finishing looks very, very good. He’s athletic, which is half of this division. He’s been right up there in all the runs and he looks like he’s really hungry to do well.

“Our biggest problem last year was not scoring enough goals and judging on the last couple of days he certainly knows how to put the ball in the back of the net.
“I’m looking forward to playing with him.”
There are massively high hopes for Parrott at Spurs, but Jose Mourinho has seemingly decided that the teenager needs a spell out on loan before being ready for his side’s first-team.
Tottenham’s striking options are actually fairly limited beyond Harry Kane, but Parrott is yet to be given a run of starts in North London.
Spurs fans are excited to see Parrott develop though, and if he can impress at Millwall, the calls for him to be included in Mourinho’s first-team are only set to grow louder.
