Going by his training-ground footage, Troy Parrott might be set for a goal-laden loan spell away from Tottenham Hotspur this season.
The Republic of Ireland youth was loaned out to Championship side Millwall a little earlier this summer.
Parrott, who doesn’t turn 19 until February, has already made his Premier League debut for Tottenham, but chances were few and far between under Jose Mourinho from December onward.
Even when Harry Kane was ruled out for four months, the Portuguese coach alternated between Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min as a number nine instead of using the teenage sensation, arguing it was too early to rely on him.
But a good loan spell could set him up nicely to break into Spurs’ senior side on a regular basis next summer.
