Mikel Arteta has sent Shakhtar Donetsk a message as he also appears to give Arsenal fans a hint about Mykhaylo Mudryk.
What’s the story?
Well, the Spaniard didn’t share too much with reporters when asked about the Ukraine international.
However, what Arteta did say was quite telling.
As quoted by Simon Collings of the Evening Standard, the 40-year-old said: “No updates. At the end of the day, players decide where they want to play.”
In our view, Arteta is telling Shakhtar Donetsk that, no matter how hard they try to block Mudryk’s move to the Emirates Stadium, the player will always get his wish eventually.
Furthermore, we also believe Arteta is hinting to the Shakhtar Donetsk No.10 that he needs to become more involved in the situation by agitating for a move in the form of an official transfer request.

So far, Mudryk has seemingly done everything but that as he makes it very clear he wants to join Arsenal.
The 22-year-old told Vlada Zinchenko, the wife of Oleksandr Zinchenko, that he would like a move to the Emirates Stadium, while also giving away a number of hints on Instagram.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Mudryk has also given Arteta his word that he will join.
Mudryk would thrive under Arteta at Arsenal
In our view, Arsenal have to get this deal wrapped up – it could be the difference in the title race.
Mudryk looks like he could potentially become one of the best players in Europe one day, and if Arteta can get his hands on the Ukrainian sensation at such a young age, he has proven himself capable of developing him into a star.
Just look at Bukayo Saka, who has risen to become one of the best wingers around since working with the Spaniard.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Mudryk saga, as there are fresh developments emerging almost every day right now.
