Mikel Arteta did not shy away from the question, admitting that he would be open to new signings coming through the door, on the condition that they can strengthen the current Arsenal squad.
“We are looking and we are very active looking at the possibilities. If we can find the players that can strengthen the team, we will try”, he told journalist Kayna Kaynak of Football.London.

Aside from maintaining their consistency, Arsenal will have to add fresh faces to their squad in January to become Premier League champions.
After all, the Gunners are going toe-to-toe with a Manchester City side that have a well-stocked squad full of some of the best players in Europe.
With injuries and fatigue seeming inevitable after the World Cup, Mikel Arteta must be handed the power to bolster his squad, as Arsenal are in a brilliant position to beat the odds and win the league.
