Arsenal youngster Miguel Azeez is about to leave the Gunners and join Portsmouth, according to Football.London.
What’s the story?
Football.London have reported that Azeez is leaving Arsenal to move to Portsmouth on a loan deal.
The 18-year-old midfielder was at Portsmouth on Thursday and will sign a season-long loan deal.
The teenager came through Arsenal’s Hale End academy.
Azeez was hoping to break into the Arsenal first team this season, but there is no Europa League football and Kevin Betsy’s Under-23 side have a lot of midfielders.
So, it has been decided that Azeez will move to Portsmouth on loan this summer.
Good move for Miguel Azeez?
Azeez is only 18, and it is clear that he is not the finished article yet.
However, the teenager has done well whenever he has been in action for the Arsenal Under-23 side.

Portsmouth are a big club who are aiming to win promotion from League One at the end of the season.
Azeez would help in that quest, and he would also learn and develop a lot working in a competitive environment.
Portsmouth manager Danny Cowley described the teenager as “a very good player” in HampShireLive earlier this month.
