Liverpool failed to win again on Sunday evening, as they could only draw 0-0 at home with Manchester United.
The Reds went into the game behind their bitter rivals, having drawn with West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United before losing at Southampton.
Liverpool needed a response, but posted another blank, meaning they have scored just once in their last four league games.
That’s very unlike Liverpool; their famous front three are usually causing mayhem, but they are currently missing their sparkle.
One moment frustrated Liverpool on Sunday though. Referee Paul Tierney blew the half-time whistle just as it looked like the Reds could be in on goal.
Thiago played a pass over the top of the United defence as the whistle sounded, with Sadio Mane running away from Victor Lindelof to bear down on David De Gea.

Tierney blew his whistle six seconds earlier than he was supposed to, leading Jordan Henderson to remonstrate with Tierney – and then brand the decision ‘very strange’.
Pundit Micah Richards has offered his view, suggesting that complaining about this incident is merely ‘clutching at straws’ from a Liverpool perspective.
Richards – whose ties to Manchester City may make Liverpool fans roll their eyes – suggested that Lindelof would have dealt with the danger anyway, but Reds supporters likely won’t agree with that assessment.
“It’s definitely clutching at straws,” said Richards. “I think Lindelof just knocks that back to the keeper, the goalkeeper kicks it up and we restart the game – I think we’re clutching there,” he added.
