Micah Richards has said on BBC One (4:04pm, June 18, 2021) that reported Arsenal target Alexander Isak could be a gem.
The former Manchester City star was impressed by Isak’s performance during Sweden’s 1-0 win against Slovakia in Euro 2020 today.

The Athletic reported this month that Arsenal want to sign Isak from Real Sociedad in the summer transfer window.
As we covered here on HITC Sport, Cadena Ser reported last week that the North London club have already opened talks with the 21-year-old forward’s agent.

Richards said about Isak on BBC One (4:04pm, June 18, 2021): “He could do it in the Premier League as well. I would love to see him in the Premier League, honestly.
“He has been linked with Arsenal as well, so who knows. They might have found a gem there.”
How did Alexander Isak play today?
Isak was very impressive for Sweden in their opening Euro 2020 game against Spain.
The Sociedad star played well for his national team today as well.
The 21-year-old took five shots and one was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 76%, won four headers, took 45 touches, attempted six dribbles, and made one clearance.
Isak made 30 starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Sociedad last season.
The youngster scored 17 goals and gave two assists in those games.
