Neymar remains one of Brazil’s biggest World Cup talking points, even before making his first appearance of the tournament.
The 34-year-old missed the opener with a calf issue and there are still questions over whether he will return against Haiti on Friday, as Brazil manage his fitness carefully.
Off the pitch, he is also making headlines after confirming he is set to become a father for the fifth time, with Bruna Biancardi expecting their third child together.
Who is Bruna Biancardi?
Biancardi is a Brazilian influencer from São Paulo who studied fashion and previously worked in marketing for her family’s clothing brand.
She was already active online, but her profile rose significantly after she began dating Neymar in 2022. She is now 32 and has 15.5 million followers on Instagram.
The relationship has not always been quiet. Brazilian gossip outlets have repeatedly reported alleged cheating claims around Neymar, and he publicly apologised during Biancardi’s first pregnancy.
The couple later separated, resumed their relationship and surprised many fans in 2025 when Biancardi revealed they had already married without sharing details of the ceremony.
Neymar is now set to become a father of five
Neymar’s first child is Davi Lucca, whose mother is influencer Carol Dantas.
With Biancardi, Neymar then welcomed Mavie in 2023 and Mel in 2025. The couple are now expecting another girl, who will be their third daughter together.
Neymar also has another daughter, Helena, with influencer Amanda Kimberlly, after they became involved during a period when he and Biancardi were allegedly separated.
