Thierry Henry has stated that ‘maybe’ Arsenal will be back in the Champions League one day, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (29/05/22 at 11:55 pm).
After Liverpool were beaten in the Champions League final at the hands of Real Madrid, Jamie Carragher proceeded to fire shots at both Arsenal and Manchester United for not being in next season’s competition.
The Anfield legend had ex-Arsenal striker, Henry, and former Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel, beside him at the Stade de France.
The former Premier League stars will be covering Champions League football next season as pundits, however, they won’t be talking about Erik ten Hag or Mikel Arteta because it’s Europa League football for them.
As Carragher was firing the shots at Arsenal, Henry pointed out that he didn’t want to respond because there was nothing to shout about.
“Do you realise how I keep quiet,” said Henry. “When you can’t speak just don’t speak. Don’t say anything.
“Maybe, we will be back one day.”

IS ARSENAL LOSING CL SPOT THIS SEASON A ‘FAILURE’?
Earlier on in the season, Henry made it clear that if Arsenal don’t secure a top-four spot in the Premier League, then it would be a ‘failure’.
Well, the legendary striker surely has to share those same thoughts now, especially given who beat them to Champions League football.
Not only was it Tottenham who secured that all-important return to the elite ahead of Mikel Arteta’s side.
But, it’s the fact that it all unfolded during the final weeks of capitulation from the Gunners.
