Maxx Crosby looks set for another season at the Las Vegas Raiders despite almost joining the Baltimore Ravens through a blockbuster trade.
The proposed trade to send Crosby to Baltimore collapsed at the eleventh hour following the defensive end’s physical in Maryland.
Despite travelling the length of the country to undergo his physical, the Ravens pulled the plug on the proposed deal to send two first-round picks.
Having returned to the Raiders following the failed trade in March, Crosby has now spoken about Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The defensive end is known for hunting down quarterbacks in the backfield, but even Crosby has admitted there is no catching the Ravens QB.

Jerry Jones actually praised the Ravens for withdrawing from the Crosby trade as they then signed Trey Hendrickson on a cheaper deal.
Crosby actually holds a 2-0 record against Jackson having beaten the Ravens in both 2021 and 2024, but the defensive end has shown his respect to the 29-year-old.
Speaking about his technique, Crosby said through Bleacher Report: “I want to take a really good pursuit angle, and, for me, that delusion in my head, I’m like: ‘They’re a quarterback – besides Lamar Jackson – I’m running their a** down no matter what’.
“So I just want to close down as much ground as possible.”
In the two games against the Ravens, Crosby has been able to sack Jackson twice in each game.
The future of Crosby remains up in the air following his failed trade to Baltimore, but the Ravens are not expected to be in any hurry to push him out of the door.
Although there may have been some frustration over how the trade unfolded, it shows Crosby’s class to show respect like this to Jackson.
