Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keen on bringing Michael Olise to Stamford Bridge.
According to The Daily Mail, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has directly spoken to Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise over a potential transfer this summer.
The former Tottenham Hotspur head coach “is a big admirer of the young winger and has already spoken to him”, according to the report.
This comes after RMC Sport in France claimed that Chelsea have made a bid of €45 million (£39 million) for the 21-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and was described as “outrageous” by Crystal Palace central midfielder Will Hughes, as relayed by Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster on his YouTube channel in August 2022.
Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested in the France Under-21 international, according to 90min.
Chelsea could be able to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace
In our opinion, Chelsea could be able to sign Michael Olise from London and Premier League rivals Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
First of all, Chelsea are offering Palace more than Olise’s release clause of £35 million (The Daily Mail).

Yes, the Blues are doing that to secure a more favourable payment plan, but it would still be very tempting for the Eagles.
Secondly, Olise himself could find the prospect of moving to Chelsea very appealing.
Although Chelsea had a very torrid campaign last season, they are one of the biggest clubs in the world and have won the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League in recent seasons.
Pochettino personally speaking to Olise indicates that the Chelsea boss does have a plan on how to use him in his team.
The 21-year-old made 31 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Palace last season.
The attacker scored two goals and gave 11 assists in those games.
Olise has made 63 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The France Under-21 international has scored four goals and given 16 assists in those games.
