Mauricio Pochettino has raved reported Liverpool target and Germany international midfielder Jamal Musiala on BBC One (9:07pm, November 27, 2022).
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has said that Musiala, who has been linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, is a massive talent, just like Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is.
Musiala joined Bayern Munich in 2019 after leaving London club Chelsea and has been linked with a switch to Premier League giants Liverpool.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg reported in October 2022 that that Liverpool are interested in signing Musiala as a back-up if they are unable to bring in Bellingham from Dortmund in the summer of 2023.
Pochettino made the comments about 19-year-old Bayern midfielder after watching him in action for Germany against Spain at the 2022 Qatar World Cup on Sunday evening.
The former Paris Saint-Germain boss was hugely impressed.

Pochettino said about Musiala: “For me, he is one of the most talented young players.
“He is fantastic, with Gavi, with Bellingham, Pedri. Massive talent. I think he is going to grow during the World Cup.”
Could a transfer happen?
In our view, Liverpool are unlikely to be able to sign Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich anytime soon.
Bayern are the biggest club in Germany and one of the biggest in the world.
There is no way that the defending Bundesliga champions will be willing to part company with one of the best young talents in the world.
Absolutely no way.
