Ray Parlour has said on talkSPORT (7:44am, November 15, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are not the favourites to win the Premier League title this season, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are.
The former Arsenal star believes that defending champions Manchester City are “massive favourites” to win the Premier League title despite being five points behind leaders Arsenal.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 37 points from 14 matches.
City are second with 32 points from 14 games.
Ray Parlour on Arsenal v Manchester City Premier League title race
Parlour said: “At the end of the day, they are five points clear, but it can all go seriously wrong quickly. We all know that when you are at a football club.”
The pundit added: “You have still go to put City as massive favourites to win it.”

Who will win the title this season?
In our view, Manchester City have to be considered as the favourites for the Premier League title this season, but Arsenal are clearly going to push Pep Guardiola’s side all the way.
City do have the best squad in England, and that could see them get over the line.
Eventually.
Oh, City manager Pep Guardiola also has the lethal Erling Haaland at his disposal.
Arsenal have done exceptionally well so far this season, and it will be interesting to see how the North London club do after the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
