Martyn Waghorn (9) of Derby County applauds the Rams supporters during the Sky Bet Championship match between Derby County and West Bromwich Albion at the Pride Park, Derby on Saturday...

Derby County forward Martyn Waghorn has taken to Instagram to give his reaction to his side’s draw with Leeds United.

The Rams played out a 1-1 draw with Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side took the lead through an own goal from Max Lowe in the 20th minute, and Chris Martin equalised for the visiting team in the first minute of injury time.

The West Yorkshire outfit had chances to add to their tally throughout the 90 minutes, and Mateusz Klich also failed to convert a penalty.

Waghorn – who has been on the books of Derby since the summer of 2018 when he joined from Ipswich Town for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £5 million – has praised Martin on Instagram as well as the character shown by his team.

Interestingly, the 29-year-old former Rangers forward mocked a Leeds fan on Twitter last season following the Championship playoff semi-finals between the Whites and Derby, which the Rams won (click here to read more).
