Rossiter has made just six Rangers appearances since his July move to Ibrox.
Rangers’ Jordan Rossiter has suffered a setback in his quest for fitness, manager Mark Warburton confirmed, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times.
Rangers have missed the former Liverpool midfielder, who is yet to taste defeat in six appearances since his July move to Ibrox, especially in the absence of Joey Barton.

With Barton’s contract finally terminated last week, the timing seemed to have been perfect, with Rossiter having six weeks to impress ahead of the January transfer window, in which the Gers are expected to bring in reinforcements.
However, the 19-year-old looks as though he will have to wait a little longer before getting a chance to stake his claim.
“Jordan is getting there, he had a small set-back and there is a lot of work being done with him,” Warburton said, as quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times.
“Jordan is a boy who just wants to play football; his ability is more than evident to anyone who has seen him play this season.

“The frustration is obvious but he’s working hard and these things happen, these frustrations come with the game.
“Jordan is very frustrated at the moment but there is no doubt his quality is there and we’ll see it sooner rather than later I’m sure.”
Former Chelsea and Manchester City midfielder Frank Lampard is the latest name to be associated with Rangers, who are also without Niko Kranjcar for the rest of the campaign.
The Gers were among the early favourites to sign the 38-year-old, after he confirmed his departure from New York City FC on Monday, with bookmakers SkyBet.
However, the Ibrox outfit have since dropped to 11/1, with Crystal Palace (6/4), West Ham United (7/1) and Chelsea (8/1) each ahead of them.
