Teddy Sheringham has said on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, March 7, 2022) that Marcus Rashford should stay at Manchester United, despite interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, David Moyes’s West Ham United and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United.
Former Manchester United and West Ham striker Sheringham believes that Rashford should stay at Old Trafford and work hard to get back into the team.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Rashford is considering his future at Manchester United.
90min have reported that Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham are the clubs who are monitoring the situation of the 24-year-old and are keen on signing the Manchester United star in the summer transfer window.
Sheringham said on Sky Sports Premier League (11pm, March 7, 2022), as transcribed by UnitedinFocus: “I would say to him – he’s a young lad still – knuckle down. Get your head down. Concentrate on making yourself a better player.
“Don’t blame anyone else and get yourself back in that first team by hard work.
“Not by thinking you’re going to go somewhere else and it’s going to be nice and easy. Make sure you get back in that Man United team.”

Arsenal or West Ham United for Marcus Rashford?
In our view, Rashford should seriously consider a move away from Manchester United, especially with West Ham and Arsenal interested in the England international striker.
The Englishman has stagnated at Old Trafford and could do with a change of clubs.
Both Arsenal and West Ham are big and ambitious clubs, and we think that Rashford should seriously consider them,
In our view, Arsenal would be a better option for Rashford.
The Gunners are a global club, like Manchester United, and are looking to return to their former glory in the coming years.
