Jamie Carragher has criticised reported Arsenal target Marcus Rashford on Sky Sports for his performance for Manchester United against Manchester City in the Manchester derby at the weekend.
Rashford was part of the Manchester United team that lost 4-1 to City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Carragher was not impressed by Rashford’s pressing.
90min have reported that Arsenal are among the clubs who are interested in signing the England international forward in the summer transfer window.
Carragher said: “Rashford certainly wasn’t the highest player in terms of the press. There were four or five players ahead of him.
“He is now the deepest one there. I just don’t want to jump on the bandwagon, I know Rashford is getting a lot of stick right now, but that is not acceptable. It’s not.”

Marcus Rashford could flourish at Arsenal
In our view, Rashford could flourish at Arsenal and would make the Gunners a better and more potent team in attack.
The Manchester United player is able to play centrally as a striker or out wide.
Arsenal could have to sign as many as three forward players in the summer transfer window, and Rashford could be one of them.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Arsenal for Barcelona in the January transfer window, while Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out of contract at the end of the season.
Manchester United as a club have been struggling for some time, while things are going great for Arsenal at the moment.
Rashford has scored 59 goals in 197 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
As Carragher notes, Rashford was not great at pressing against City, but there is so much a player can do as a substitute against a Pep Guardiola team who are toying with the opposition.
