Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has raved about Mateusz Klich, as quoted in Leeds Live.

Bielsa has said that the way Klich is playing at the moment is giving him great happiness.

The Argentine made the comments following Leeds’s 4-0 win against Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Saturday.

Bielsa told Leeds Live about Klich: “He played a very good game against Tottenham. And he kept the same level in the game today. He’s at a similar level to his best level within this team. It gives me great happiness that he is playing as he is capable of playing.”

There have been suggestions that Klich has looked tired this season, but the 30-year-old showed no signs of fatigue against Burnley.

The Poland international scored one of the goals for Leeds and looked very good in the middle of the park.

According to WhoScored, Mateusz Klich took one shot and it ended in a goal, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 84%, took 32 touches, made two tackles, and put in two crosses.

The Poland international went through a spell when he was not at his best, but he is now starting to recover his best form.

Klich has made 28 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds this season, scoring four goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
