Reported Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Manuel Locatelli wants to join Juventus, according to Calciomercato.it.

What’s the story?

Calciomercato.it are reporting that Locatelli wants to join Juventus despite interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.

Tottenham’s new sporting director, Fabio Paratici, is reportedly keen on the 23-year-old midfielder.

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the Sassuolo star.

Arsenal are so desperate to sign the 23-year-old Italy international that they have also made a bid, according to Sassuolo’s sporting director, Giovanni Carnevali.

Sky Sports covered those comments this week.

Carnevali also said that Juventus want the youngster, and that talks have been held between the two clubs.

Blow for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur

Locatelli is one of the best midfielders in Serie A, and there is no surprise that Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly want him.

The Sassuolo no.73 scored four goals and gave two assists in 34 Serie A games last season.

However, with the player keen on a move to Juventus, Arsenal and Tottenham could miss out.

Juventus are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and they could come to an arrangement with Sassuolo.

Locatelli, part of the Italy squad at the ongoing Euro 2020 finals this summer, will have a major say on his next club.
