- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that Manchester United would be open to allowing Mason Mount and Antony to leave the club this summer.
Since joining Manchester United in the summer of 2022, things have not worked out for Brazilian winger Antony, who joined the Red Devils for a fee in the region of £80 million.
The Brazilian winger has featured in 54 Premier League games but has scored just five goals and provided three assists for the Red Devils.
As for Mason Mount, United completed the signing of the Chelsea midfielder last summer but the Englishman has also struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford due to the injury problems that he has had to deal with.

United open to offers for Mount and Antony
United have already completed the signing of defender Leny Yoro and forward Joshua Zirkzee but sales look to be next on the agenda for new sporting director Dan Ashworth.
HITC understands that during conversations about the season, Erik Ten Hag spoke at length with the club’s footballing department about potential departures this summer and both Mount and Antony were confirmed as being options that the club would look at.
Sources have told HITC that during United’s conversation with those from the Saudi Pro League about the possible sale of Brazilian midfielder Casemiro, Antony came up in conversations and there is interest from the Middle East.
United are understood to be willing to listen to a possible loan for the winger as long as his wages were covered, as they did with Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood last season.
Mount attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs
As for Mount, who’s debut campaign at Old Trafford was beset by injuries, there is some interest from across the Premier League in the £60 million midfielder.
It is our understanding that a number of clubs are being made aware of his situation, including Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United this summer and these clubs have been spoken to by intermediaries.
French forward Kylian Mbappe labelled Mount as a ‘superb player’ but he has yet to show his talent for the Red Devils and his future has now been called into question.
