- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that the representatives of one Manchester United player are in talks over a move to the Saudi Pro League.
This summer promises to be one of sweeping change at Old Trafford for Manchester United with the club confirming the appointment of Dan Ashworth earlier this week.
Ashworth is set to be the club’s sporting director whilst German Christopher Vivell, who has also agreed on a move to Old Trafford, is set to head up recruitment.
Whilst incomings will be very important for the Red Devils, it is also essential they have players going the other way and one of those who is facing the exit door is Casemiro.

Man United midfielder in talks over move to Saudi Pro League
HITC understands that Casemiro’s representatives are in talks with the Saudi Pro League over a move to the Middle East.
The Saudi Pro League are understood to be ready to make the United star one of their big name signings this summer and a number of clubs are keen on the 32-year-old.
Sources have told HITC that United are anxious to move on a number of names this summer, but none more so than Casemiro, who is one of the top earners at Old Trafford.
United are in the market for a new midfielder this summer and are interested in Paris Saint-Germain’s Manuel Ugarte, who is at the 2024 Copa America with Uruguay.
Casemiro makes preference clear amid interest from elsewhere
HITC sources understands that Casemiro was informed by the club’s hierarchy that the club were looking to sell him this summer, and that is a stance the midfielder has accepted.
Casemiro struggled during his second season at Old Trafford as the Red Devils slumped to an eighth placed finish and the Brazilian missed the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City.
During his debut campaign at Old Trafford, Casemiro was labelled as ‘magnificent‘ by Ten Hag but he has struggled over the past year.
His representatives have been holding talks with America’s Major League Soccer, and clubs in Turkey – but it is understood that a move to Saudi Arabia is option that appeals most to the 32-year-old.
