Everton fans have reacted on Twitter to the rumours that Tottenham have now turned their attention to Nuno Espirito Santo to become their next manager.
Ever since leaving Wolves at the end of the season, Nuno has seen his name linked with Everton, Crystal Palace and Spurs.
But talkSPORT claimed on Saturday that Tottenham’s new managing director, Fabio Paratici, has set his sights on the Portuguese and sees him as a ‘top target’.
Top target number 12 perhaps because Spurs are going through the lot as they struggle to replace Jose Mourinho in the dugout.
Everton can have excuses as to why they are taking their time to appoint a new manager because Carlo Ancelotti’s departure was a surprise.
But those in North London cannot have such excuses, because going by Mourinho’s record, he will probably be sacked by Roma by the time a new face is sitting in Tottenham’s dugout.
However, Everton fans have shared an interesting reaction to the fresh manager rumours coming from Spurs.
It was only last week that it looked like Nuno was going to be heading to Merseyside, but it now doesn’t seem to be the case.
And with time ticking, fans getting even more frustrated, it’s time someone leans towards a candidate and gets a deal over the line.
If it wasn’t for Euro 2020 then the mess that Levy is creating at Hotspur Way would be more visible, but come back next week when talks have broken down between Nuno and Spurs.
