Everton are reportedly about to appoint Nuno as their new manager, just days after it was reported that his agent Jorge Mendes wanted him to take the Tottenham Hotspur role.
Nuno to Everton
The Daily Mail has claimed that Everton will formally offer the former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss the manager’s role this weekend.
The Portuguese is excited at the prospect of managing the Goodison Park outfit.
This follows talks between Nuno and Everton and between the Mendes client and Crystal Palace.
Tottenham Hotspur links
What is even more intriguing is that this reported deal comes just days after Nuno was linked with the Tottenham job.
The Mirror reported on May 21 that super-agent Mendes was pushing Nuno for the Tottenham manager’s role.
However, it seems that Tottenham are now on the verge of appointing Paulo Fonseca as their new manager.

Good appointment for Everton?
Nuno did well during his time at Wolves.
The former Valencia manager guided the Wanderers from the Championship to the Premier League.
Wolves then went on to play in the Europa League.
Nuno has shown that he is a manager who can handle a big project.
The former FC Porto boss could be a success at Everton as well.
What is important is that Everton give Nuno time and should not panic if initial results are not great.
