Juventus star Wojciech Szczesny does not want to leave the Serie A side amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur in his transfer. Aston Villa have also now been offered the goalkeeper.
That is according to Calciomercato, which reports Szczesny hopes to stay at the Turin outfit for a long time still. He moved to the Allianz Stadium natives from Arsenal in July 2017 and soon became their number one. His presence is also not currently under any serious risk.

Juventus do not plan on moving on from Szczesny in the immediate future despite the 32-year-old making an error in their friendly with Standard Liege on Friday. Instead, the team have every intention to extend the Poland shot-stopper’s contract past its 2024 expiration.

Szczesny is under contract in Turin until June 2024. But his existing terms also feature an automatic one-year extension if he achieves set criteria. Juventus also have every intention of exercising their club-held option regardless of the 70-cap star meeting the fixed clauses.
A new deal would delight Szczesny as the €12m (£10.5m) ex-Arsenal star has no intentions to leave Juventus, either. He has amassed 190 appearances across all competitions for the Bianconeri since quitting the Gunners. Arsene Wenger sold him after 181 senior matches.

A transfer for Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny is of interest to Tottenham
In an ideal world, Szczesny would end his career at Juventus in a blow for Tottenham amid their transfer interest. Boss Antonio Conte has begun exploring potential new goalkeepers to replace Hugo Lloris. The Frenchman, whose deal ends in 2024, turned 36 on Boxing Day.
Tottenham are very interested in Szczesny returning to the Premier League with a transfer from Juventus, per CalcioMercatoWeb. But the Bianconeri have also offered him to Aston Villa, also per CalcioMercatoWeb. The Serie A side are exploring signing Emiliano Martinez.
Szczesny showed at the World Cup that he still has a lot to offer between the sticks. Alan Shearer lauded his efforts in goal as Poland lost to Argentina during Group C. The Magpies hero noted on the BBC how Szczesny was ‘magnificent’ in Qatar and vital to Poland’s run.
