Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche has emphasised his Bundesliga club’s wish to keep Evan Ndicka. He reportedly has an agreement with Arsenal for a free transfer.

Ndicka is out of contract at the end of the term after four years at Deutsche Bank Park. He can also sign pre-contracts with foreign sides from January 1 ahead of his terms lapsing on June 30. A host of clubs are already lining up at the 23-year-old’s door to offer moves, too.

But Krosche still believes Eintracht Frankfurt is the best club for Ndicka and Daichi Kamada, who is likewise out of contract in 2023. He has also confirmed that Die Adler have offered both players new deals. Yet all Krosche can do now is to wait and see if they were enough.

Krosche told Kicker: “We really want to keep them, have made them offers and explained their role at Eintracht in the future. Now, we have to wait and see. We are convinced that it would be best for them to stay with Eintracht.”

Arsenal have an agreement with Ndicka for the Eintracht Frankfurt star’s transfer

Ndicka joined Eintracht Frankfurt from his academy side Auxerre in 2018 and is now a firm fixture of their line-up. The Paris-born enforcer has started all 15 of Die Adler’s Bundesliga games so far this term. He also started all six of their Champions League group stage ties.

But with his contract up next year, teams sense a chance to poach the former France U21 talent. Roma Giallorossa has listed Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United as potential suitors with Roma. But Il Romanista claims Ndicka already has an agreement with Arsenal.

The 6 ft 3 ace is Jose Mourinho’s top target to improve Roma’s left-sided options at centre-back. Yet Arsenal are thought to already have an agreement in place for Ndicka to join in a free transfer once his Eintracht Frankfurt contract expires. But Krosche recently refuted it.

Arsenal or a rival suitor could also move to secure Ndicka’s transfer in January to avoid him going elsewhere. Although Eintracht Frankfurt will demand €15m (£13m) to sell in January and avoid the centre-half leaving for free, per Bild. A fee that may still prove very enticing.
