Lucas Torreira may not play for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal again, according to development reported in CM.
CM have reported that Fiorentina have decided to make Torreira’s loan deal from Arsenal permanent in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old midfielder moved to Fiorentina on a season-loan deal from Arsenal in the summer of 2021.
CM have reported that Fiorentina chairman Rocco B. Commisso has decided that the Italian club will pay the Gunners the required €15 million (£12.84m) transfer fee to sign Torreira on a permanent deal.
The operation will be completed in mid-May, according to the report.

Lucas Torreira no big miss for Arsenal
In our opinion, Torreira will not be a big miss for Arsenal.
The Gunners have moved on from him and are not missing the midfielder at all.
Torreira was on loan during the 2020-21 campaign as well – at Atletico Madrid.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta clearly does not think that Torreira is good enough for him, and a permanent transfer to Fiorentina does make sense.
The 26-year-old Uruguay international midfielder has made 25 starts and four substitute appearances in Serie A for Fiorentina this season.
Torreira has scored five goals and given one assist in those matches.
