Liverpool’s Fabinho gives verdict on ace who’s joining Manchester United

Liverpool defensive midfielder Fabinho has raved about Manchester United-bound Casemiro in The Telegraph.

Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing of Brazil international defensive midfielder Casemiro from Real Madrid.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Twitter yesterday that Casemiro has completed his medical and is now just waiting for his visa to be sorted.

United announced on their official website last week that they have reached an agreement with La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid over the transfer of the 30-year-old.

Liverpool star Fabinho plays with Casemiro for the Brazil national football team, and he has backed him to be a success at United.

Fabinho made the comments about Casemiro ahead of the Premier League game between United and Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday evening.

Liverpool’s Fabinho on Manchester United-bound Casemiro

The Liverpool star told The Telegraph about Casemiro: “I played with him in Real Madrid’s second team and with the national team.

“He is a friend, we always have conversations and he is a good guy. Of course, he will be a good signing.

“Casemiro is a smart guy, he is a good player, he is strong, he is good in the air, so it will not be hard for him to adapt to the Premier League.”

Battle between two friends

Fabinho and Casemiro are two of the best defensive midfielders in the world, and it will be interesting to see how the two Brazilian players fare in the Premier League this season.

Liverpool star Fabinho has been superb in the Premier League over the years, while Casemiro has been winning the La Liga title and the UEFA Champions League regularly with Madrid.
