Rio Ferdinand has raved about reported Liverpool target and West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen on his YouTube channel.

The former West Ham United central defender has been impressed by Bowen, linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The BT Sports pundit believes that West Ham attacker Bowen is going under the radar.

The Times reported in January that West Ham are concerned that Liverpool will make a bid for Bowen in the summer transfer widow..

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the 25-year-old – who can play as a winger, midfielder or forward – in the summer transfer window.

Ferdinand said about Bowen on on his YouTube channel, as transcribed by TheBootRoom: “Talking about West Ham, by the way, Bowen, he has been going under the radar, under the radar by the way. 12 goals and nine assists in all competitions this season.

“There is only one man with more Premier League goals and assists than Bowen this season and that’s Mohamed Salah. Wow!”

Liverpool target Jarrod Bowen is in fine form

In our view, Bowen has been superb for West Ham so far this season and will make Liverpool a better and more potent attacking team.

Yes, we know that Liverpool have a fearsome attacking unit and signed Luis Diaz from FC Porto only in the January transfer window.

However, there is always room for better players.

And Bowen is one of the better attacking players in the Premier League.

Bowen has scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 24 Premier League starts for West Ham so far this season.
