West Ham United are concerned that Liverpool will make a bid for Jarrod Bowen in the summer of 2022, according to The Times.

The Times have reported that Liverpool are interested in signing Bowen from Premier League rivals West Ham.

The report has claimed that the Hammers are ‘concerned that Liverpool could firm up interest’ in the 25-year-old, who cost them £20 million in transfer fees in January 2020 (BBC Sport).

Therefore, West Ham are looking at potential alternatives and have identified Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter as a transfer target in the summer of 2022.

Could Jarrod Bowen leave West Ham for Liverpool?

In our view, Bowen could swap West Ham for Liverpool in the summer of 2022.

Yes, the Hammers are a big club and could finish in the Premier League top four this season, but we have to admit the appeal and attraction of Liverpool.

Liverpool regularly challenge for the Premier League and the Champions League, have world-class players such as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, and have a brilliant manager in Jurgen Klopp.

Bowen has done extremely well at the Hammers and has shown his versatility by playing as a winger, midfielder or forward.

The 25-year-old has made 22 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for West Ham so far this season.

Bowen has scored six goals and provided seven assists in those games.
