Here is the latest Liverpool news that has come out of Anfield in the past 24 hours with the club embarking on a rebuild under new manager Arne Slot.

Caoimhin Kelleher

Starting with potential outgoings is Liverpool’s back-up goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, who has not been given the chances he has craved in the first team under Jurgen Klopp.

Last month, Kelleher gave an interview to The Athletic and confirmed his desire to be a number one. With Alisson still going strong for Liverpool, it is looking more and more unlikely that the Irish goalkeeper will be given a chance to be number one at Anfield.

A post on X from journalist Dominic Lynch has confirmed that Liverpool are ready to drive a hard bargain for the goalkeeper and will seek a fee in the region of £20 million.

Federico Chiesa

Starting off the list of potential incomings, once again, is Italian winger Federico Chiesa, who looks set to depart Juventus this summer.

HITC reported that Liverpool were among the clubs who were in contact with representatives of the 26-year-old and could be tempted to make a move this summer.

A report from Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport has detailed how Juve are keen on letting the forward go and would accept offers in the region of £21 million for the explosive forward.

A new forward looks to be high on the agenda with a report from The Athletic detailing that the future of Luis Diaz is currently unclear at this moment in time which could open the door to the signing of Chiesa.

Lutsharel Geertruida

Next on the list is Feyenoord right-back Lutsharel Geertruida, who has really gone from strength to strength during his time in the Eredivisie.

It is unclear if a new right-back would be targeted, with Liverpool already having plenty of cover in that area, namely Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Bradley.

A report from Dutch outlet AD details that Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and West Ham are keen on the Dutchman.

The link to Liverpool is an obvious one with Arne Slot previously being manager of Geertruida so a move makes sense. However, unless the Dutchman will be deployed at centre-back, a role he can play, this move makes little sense.

Bento

If Kelleher is to leave Anfield in the summer, a new number two will be needed and that is why there are tentative links to Brazilian goalkeeper Bento.

French outlet SportZone claims that Liverpool are in the race for the Brazilian alongside Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.

The Athletico Paranense goalkeeper earned his first call up to the Brazil first team this season and the report from the French outlet claims he is ready to make the move to Europe.

Calvin Ramsey

With Geertruida potentially being a target for the Reds, it is of little surprise to hear that Scottish defender Calvin Ramsey has left the club on loan.

After joining the Reds from Aberdeen back in 2022, the defender has hardly featured under Jurgen Klopp and the 20-year-old has now moved to Wigan Athletic, with the Latics announcing the deal.

Game time for the young defender will be vital in the hopes that he can develop as a player and potentially become a first team player at Anfield.
