HITC understands that Federico Chiesa’s entourage are doing their due diligence on his behalf – which has included talking to a number of Premier League clubs about his potential availability this summer.
Arne Slot’s Liverpool and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are two teams who are long-term admirers of the Italy international.
The Reds will have a new manager in the dugout for next season after the departure of Jurgen Klopp, whilst the Magpies will be without any European football after returning to the Champions League last season.
Liverpool ended the campaign in third place, despite for large parts pushing for the Premier League title, whilst Newcastle‘s seventh-placed finish wasn’t enough for any European football because of Manchester United’s shock FA Cup final win over Manchester City.
Federico Chiesa’s future at Juventus
Federico Chiesa‘s representatives have been locked in talks with Juventus all season about a new deal, but in recent weeks they have stalled.
Juve sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, and the rest of the club’s hierarchy, have made it clear to Chiesa that they will look to sell him this summer if a new deal is not agreed – the player’s contract expires in the summer of 2025.

Juventus have been busy finalising a deal for new head coach Thiago Motta – who will be confirmed this week, but they don’t want him to have to deal with a situation that would mean Chiesa being linked with a move away from the club for the next 12-months. They also don’t want to lose him for nothing.
Now, aware that a new deal is looking unlikely at this stage – Chiesa’s people and intermediaries are holding talks with clubs to inform them of the situation.

Liverpool and Newcastle are both long-term admirers of Chiesa and HITC can confirm they are being made aware that the 26-year-old is set to be available.
Indeed, HITC has been told that all of the Premier League’s top clubs have been informed of the situation – Chiesa was recently being watched at the Coppa Italia final as Juve beat Atalanta, as HITC revealed.
The likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also among those who have previously shown an interest in Chiesa.
The versatile forward is regarded as one of the best players in Serie A and he helped Juve return to the Champions League this season.
He scored nine goals and supplied three assists for his club, but will now turn his attention to international matters and try to help Italy defend their crown ahead of Euro 2024.
