Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte is ‘fuming’ at the prospect of missing out on Luis Diaz to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, according to The Mirror.
The Mirror have reported that Tottenham wanted to sign Diaz from FC Porto in the January transfer window.
However, Liverpool have reportedly made a late swoop fo the 25-year-old Colombia international winger and are now set to bring him to Anfield this month.
This, according to The Mirror, has left Conte ‘fuming’, especially as Tottenham are now also set to miss out on Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore to Barcelona.
Tottenham Hotspur need to keep Antonio Conte happy
In our view, Tottenham should do their best to keep Conte happy and make sure that they bring in the players that he wants.
Or at least try their utmost.
Now, of course, it cannot be entirely Tottenham’s fault that Traore and Diaz have chosen to move elsewhere.

There is speculation that Colombia international winger Diaz wanted to move to Liverpool.
Traore is a former Barcelona player who probably feels that he has unfinished business at Camp Nou.
However, Conte is a very determined manager who knows what he wants, and, in our view, Tottenham should make sure that he has the players he needs to get the team into the Premier League top four this season.
