Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are leading the race for Torino central defender Gleison Bremer, according to Tuttosport.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is personally interested in the 24-year-old Brazilian central defender.
Klopp has been following the progress of the defender for three years now, and the German is reportedly ready to make a bid for him in the summer transfer window.
According to the report, Liverpool are leading the race for the Torino centre-back.
Do Liverpool need Gleison Bremer?
In our view, Liverpool do not need another centre-back now.
The Reds do have more than enough centre-backs on their books at the moment.

Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez and Rhys Williams are the options at the back for Liverpool manager Klopp now.
If Liverpool do sign Bremer, then surely the Reds will have to offload one of their centre-backs.
Bremer has made 25 appearances in Serie A for Torino so far this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
The Torino no. 3 scored five goals in 33 league matches last season, and scored three goals and gave one assist in 27 league games in 2019-20.
