Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said on BT Sport 1 (2:43pm, March 12, 2022) that Mohamed Salah has told him that his injury is not serious.
However, Klopp has said that he needs to wait to find out how bad the injury is for the Liverpool forward.
Salah suffered the injury during Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Egypt international forward had to come off in the 65th minute.
Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool star Mohamed Salah injury
Klopp said: “We will see. He thinks it’s not serious, but we will see.”
In our view, Liverpool can cope without Salah if he is out for a few games.
Now, of course, that is not ideal, especially as the Egyptian is a goal machine and is arguably the most important player in the current Liverpool team.

After all, the 29-year-old former Chelsea attacker has scored 20 goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League for Liverpool so far this season.
However, Liverpool manager Klopp now has a lot of options in attack.
Sadio Mane is at his best, and Roberto Firmino is coming back from injury.
Luis Diaz is on fire at the moment, and Diogo Jota remains a very reliable source of goals.
