Frank Leboeuf has claimed on ESPN that the only club for Kalidou Koulibaly are Liverpool.
The former Chelsea central defender believes that Napoli defender Koulibaly is a fantastic player and would fit in well at Liverpool.
The Frenchman has said that all other top clubs in Europe except Liverpool have a settled central defensive pairing.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Koulibaly in the summer transfer window. Well-known and well-respected football journalist Ian McGarry has said on the Transfer Window Podcast that the defending Premier League champions have made “an informal offer”, as covered by HITC Sport.
Leboeuf said about Koulibaly on ESPN: “Fantastic player. It’s difficult for him right now, like it’s difficult for every top player.”
The Frenchman added: “He is one of the top defenders I have ever seen, and I wish him to find the best club.”
Leboeuf continued: “If I calculate the economy and the sport side as well of it, I only see one club. It’s Liverpool, it’s Liverpool because every other positions are already taken by top players in every big clubs Koulibaly could go. The only place right now is alongside Van Dijk for me.”

Kalidou Koulibaly to Liverpool?
Koulibaly is at the top of his game and is one of the best central defenders in the world.
The 29-year-old is ready to take the next step in his career and would be a good signing for Liverpool.
The Senegal international would be able to make an immediate impact at Anfield and would make the Reds better defensively, given his extensive experience in Serie A and the Champions League.
Joe Gomez and Joel Matip are injury prone, while Ben Davies was playing in the Championship just a few weeks ago and Ozan Kabak is only on loan from Schalke.
