Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is worried that Mohamed Salah will leave Anfield at the end of the season and has identified Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele as a potential replacement, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The report has claimed that Klopp is beginning to fear that Salah will not be at Liverpool next season.

The German boss wants to sign Dembele as a potential replacement for the Egypt international forward.

Mundo Deportivo have aded that Klopp is aware that the France international forward’s ‘pace and dribbling’ would amaze the Anfield faithful.

Ousmane Dembele would make Liverpool better

In our view, Dembele would make Liverpool a better and more potent team in attack.

The 24-year-old is also out of contract at Barcelona at the end of the season, which means that Liverpool would be able to sign him on a free transfer.

Now, of course, we know how good Salah is, and it is unlikely that Dembele would be able to simply score the number of goals straightaway that the Egyptian does on a regular basis.

However, Dembele is only 24, and his best years are ahead of him.

The Frenchman has had injury problems at Barcelona, but he is now in good form and doing well for Xavi’s side.

The Frenchman is now a revived future, and, in our opinion, he would be a good signing for Liverpool.

Dembele has scored one goal and provided seven assists in seven La Liga starts so far this season.
