Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is not desperate to leave Anfield.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on the social networking site that Salah is not planning for a move to La Liga at the moment.

The Egypt international forward is focused only on Liverpool at the moment, according to Romano.

Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool future

Encouraging

In our view, Romano’s latest update on Salah’s future is positive for the Liverpool fans.

There have been reports that Spanish and European giants Barcelona are keen on the 29-year-old.

Now, with Liverpool not meeting Salah’s demands over a new contract, fans will understandably be worried about his future.

Salah is one of the best players in the world and is a goal machine.

No Liverpool fan would want to lose Salah.

Romano’s tweet suggests that the Egyptian is not looking to leave Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

So, until and unless Liverpool want to sell Salah now, the forward will stay at Anfield.

That can only be positive for Liverpool, at least from a footballing perspective.

Salah is at the top of his game now, and there are no signs that he is slowing down.
