Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are getting close to signing Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion, according to a report in Argentina.
Liverpool need to pay £50m for Alexis Mac Allister
TyC Sports have reported that Mac Allister is “getting closer to finalising” his transfer to Liverpool.
The report has added that Liverpool will have to pay Premier League rivals Brighton £50 million in transfer fees for the Argentina international midfielder, described as “exceptional” by former Seagulls striker Glenn Murray on BBC Sport in April.
TyC Sports have reported that Brighton are aware that Mac Allister wants to leave in the summer transfer window and are now ready to let him join Liverpool if they get £50 million.
Exciting
In our view, it would be really great for Liverpool if they are able to sign Alexis Mac Allister for £50 million.
The midfielder is a World Cup winner with Argentina and is very dynamic and forward-thinking in his approach.

Liverpool need players like Mac Allister in the middle of the park in the coming years to get back to the level they were.
Mac Allister is 24 now, and there is every reason to believe that he will get better and improve in the coming years.
Liverpool are having a disappointing season, but manager Jurgen Klopp will be determined for his players to get back to challenging for the Premier League next campaign.
Having done well at Brighton and having won the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar, Mac Allister is ready to take the next step in his club football career and make the move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
