Liverpool are willing to sell Neco Williams as they think that Conor Bradley is ready to replace him, according to The Athletic.

The report has claimed that Liverpool would listen to offers for right-back Williams in the next year or so.

One of the reasons for that is that the Reds have high hopes for Bradley, who have been impressing the Liverpool bosses over the past 12 months.

Replacing Neco Williams with Conor Bradley at Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold is the first-choice right-back at Liverpool at the moment.

It is hard to see any Liverpool youngster be able to replace the England international right-back in the team in the coming years.

So, in our opinion, it would make sense for Williams to leave Liverpool in the summer of 2022.

The 20-year-old is a regular in the Wales team, and the right-back needs to play consistently at club level to grow and develop as a footballer.

Bradley is only 18, which means that he has more time on his hands.

The Northern Ireland international can grow and develop in the Liverpool youth team and learn from Alexander-Arnold.

Described as a “fantastic player” by Williams on Sky Sports in October 2021, Bradley could establish himself as a regular in he Liverpool first-team squad in the coming years.
