Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United are competing for the signature of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
Liverpool and Manchester United make contact regarding Adrien Rabiot
The report has claimed that Liverpool and Manchester United want to sign Rabiot on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.
The 27-year-old midfielder is out of contract at Juventus at the end of the season.
Talks between the France international and Juventus over a new deal are going on.
And, according to 90min, Liverpool and Manchester United both have made contact with Rabiot’s camp to be kept updated on those negotiations.
Anfield or Old Trafford?
In our view, it would be tough for Adrien Rabiot to choose between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Both are massive clubs and global brands, and you would expect both of them to compete for the Premier League title and the UEFA Champion League in the coming years.
United do have a good midfield, while Liverpool need to freshen up theirs.
Liverpool probably need someone like Rabiot more than United.
Rabiot is a hugely experienced player who starred for France at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and was described as “a very complete player” who is “great both with and without the ball” by Barcelona head coach Xavi in Sportskeeda in 2017.
Signing the former Paris Saint-Germain star on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 would be a coup for any club.
