Martin Keown has raved about Liverpool winger Luis Diaz on talkSPORT (11:09am, March 4, 2022) and has been impressed by the impact he has made at Anfield already.
The Arsenal legend has said that it is very rare that a player makes as quick and effective an impact on arrival at a new club as Diaz has made at Liverpool.
The Colombia international winger moved to Liverpool from FC Porto in the January transfer window.
Diaz, 25, has scored one goal in three Premier League appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side so far this campaign.
The winger has created one big chance, and five of his 12 shots have been on target,
Diaz was superb for Liverpool in the final of the Carabao Cup against Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Keown said about Diaz on talkSPORT (11:09am, March 4, 2022): “I can rarely think of someone who has come to a club and has been so effective so early.
“It has been quite incredible. That’s credit to the manager, by the way.”
