Paul Merson has written in The Daily Star that opposition teams will now be out to get Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.
The Sky Sports pundit has been hugely impressed by Diaz, who moved to Liverpool from FC Porto in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old Colombia international winger has scored one goal in three Premier League appearances for the Reds already.
Diaz scored 14 goals and gave four assists in 18 Portuguese league appearances for FC Porto this season before his move to Liverpool in January.
Former Arsenal star Merson believes that Diaz will be a big player for Liverpool and has been very impressed by him.
However, the Sky Sports pundit has also warned Diaz.
Merson wrote about Diaz in The Daily Star: “Luis Diaz has been so outstanding for Liverpool so far that he is already a marked man.
“He’s come in and caught everybody on the hop. Defenders wouldn’t have watched him much or known much about him and he’s taken them by surprise.
“Now all of a sudden he’s on the radar and this is when you’ve got to produce. He’s in opposition team talks now.
“When teams are discussing how to set up against Liverpool and who to stop, it’s not just Salah and Mane and Jota they’re talking about. It’s Luis Diaz.
“So it’s a different game for him now and this is where we are going to see what he’s made of. The top players carry it on. He will be a marked man. I don’t mean in a vicious way but teams will adjust and try to stop him.
“What I’ve seen so far, I’ve been majorly impressed. His first touch, his movement, his team play, his work ethic, finishing, his skills. Everything about him has been outstanding.
“He’s going to be massively important to them now for the rest of the season because they don’t have a chance of winning a Quadruple unless everyone is on top of their game.”

Luis Diaz could be brilliant for Liverpool
In our view, Diaz could be brilliant for Liverpool in the long run.
The Colombian has hit the ground running at Liverpool and has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.
Yes, we know that Premier League defenders would not have had time to prepare against Diaz, but we could also flip it and say that the Colombian did not have any time to prepare for the Premier League.
But he is, ripping apart opposition defences at will.
