Liverpool continue to be linked with a stunning deal for Kylian Mbappe – and Gary Neville has moved to absolutely rave about the Paris Saint-Germain star.
The Reds secured a big attacking signing in January by luring Luis Diaz from Porto to Anfield.
Diaz has already made a big impact, joining Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota in a terrifying attacking group.
Yet if you can imagine that group getting even more dangerous, think about Mbappe heading to Liverpool.
SPORT reported in February that Liverpool are trying to convince Mbappe to join them on a free transfer this summer.
Mbappe’s PSG contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he is free to leave the Ligue 1 giants in a matter of months.
Real Madrid have long been considered the favourites but Liverpool seemingly have hope of a stunning deal.
Any deal for Mbappe would see Liverpool fork out a contract beyond anything they’re used to, which will leave fans feeling that a deal simply won’t happen.
It’s unlikely, but you can never say never; Jurgen Klopp is a very convincing manager.
Mbappe takes on his potential next club in Real Madrid tonight, and Gary Neville has been speaking about the superstar striker.

Talking to Sky Sports, Neville has suggested that Mbappe is ‘absolutely sensational’ when it comes to his speed and excitement in full flow.
Neville even compared Mbappe to Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo, seemingly believing that Mbappe is already in the elite category of attackers.
“In terms of excitement, in terms of thrill, in terms of speed, Mbappe is absolutely sensational,” Neville said. “He reminds me of Thierry Henry, but he’s also got a bit of Cristiano Ronaldo in him – he is ruthless,” he added.
Liverpool adding Mbappe would be one of the greatest Premier League deals in history, and Neville knows it – much to his potential dismay given his Manchester United ties.
