Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have signed Luis Diaz from FC Porto, and they are now trying to bring Fabio Carvalho to Anfield from Fulham.

That’s according to Sky Sports.

Sky Sports are reporting this afternoon that Liverpool are interested in signing attacking midfielder Carvalho from Fulham.

The former Premier League and European champions are reportedly trying to get a deal done in the final two days of the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at Championship club Fulham at the end of the season.

Liverpool announced earlier today that they have signed Colombia international winger Diaz from FC Porto.

Could Liverpool sign Fabio Carvalho?

In our view, if Liverpool make a good offer for Carvalho now, then they could be able to convince Fulham to part company with him.

The Cottagers will surely not want to sell the 19-year-old, who can also play as a winger, in the middle of the season.

After all, Marco Silva’s side are aiming to finish in the top two of the Championship table this season.

However, Fulham will know that Carvalho will become a free agent at the end of the season, and they will only get a compensation fee for him then.

So, if Liverpool make a good offer for the 19-year-old now and are open to letting him stay on loan at Craven Cottage until the end of the season, then maybe a deal could happen.
