Frank de Boer managed to celebrate a Netherlands win on Sunday night, beating Ukraine in a superb game – and Liverpool fans now want Memphis.
The Dutch went 2-0 up through Gini Wijnaldum and Wout Weghorst, before Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk hauled Ukraine back into the game.
Denzel Dumfries snatched a late winner for the Netherlands though, handing them a 3-2 win in an open, end-to-end clash in Amsterdam.
How did Memphis perform?
Memphis was the big hope for the Netherlands entering the tournament, having hit six goals in qualifying, though he didn’t find the net last night.
The 27-year-old still managed to have a big impact, recording three key passes, two shots, four successful dribbles and 81 touches.
His superb run early on deserved a goal, but Memphis will now look for better in his next game having drawn a blank against Ukraine.

Liverpool fans clamour for Memphis
Memphis is out of contract this summer, and Liverpool were believed to be interested in signing him according to Marca in March.
It looks like Memphis will be heading to Barcelona, but with no deal done yet, Reds fans are hoping for Liverpool to swoop in and hijack the move.
Liverpool supporters have taken to Twitter to urge the Reds to make a move, believing that he is ‘perfect’ for Liverpool and the club should give him whatever he wants in order to make the move to Anfield.
