Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane continues to be linked with a move away from the club, with Manchester City’s interest worrying some Liverpool fans.
Kane enjoyed another ridiculous season for Tottenham, finishing the season as the Premier League’s top goalscorer and assist-maker.
Few strikers can match that ability, but Tottenham may now face a battle to keep hold of Kane ahead of next season.
What’s being reported about Kane to Manchester City?
Fabrizio Romano suggested on Monday that City had opened the bidding at £100million, though there were discussions over City players heading to Tottenham in part-exchange.
Romano initially claimed Aymeric Laporte, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus had been mentioned, with The Athletic adding that Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez are also in the discussion.
Tottenham aren’t too keen on the ideal of a part-exchange deal for Kane, but City are seemingly adamant about landing the England striker.

Liverpool fans share their fears
Manchester City wrestled the Premier League title back from Liverpool this past season, and the idea of them strengthening even further has some Reds fans concerned.
Supporters took to Twitter to suggest that City will ‘bully’ everyone in the Premier League if they sign Kane, and Liverpool will be ‘finished’ in the title race.
Some believe that Liverpool are ‘boring’ and need to sign Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland just to keep up with City, but believing that FSG won’t stump up the cash for a backup right back, never mind an elite striker.
