According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have now submitted a bid for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

It’s claimed that City have offered £100million plus the option for Spurs to include some of Pep Guardiola’s players in the deal.

The Sun reported earlier this month that Daniel Levy was not interested in swap deals for Kane, so it will be interesting to see how Tottenham repsond given that Levy seemingly won’t like the idea.

Who could Tottenham land from City?

A dream addition would be Raheem Sterling, but it seems unlikely that Tottenham would be able to afford his huge wages.

Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus make some sense, with the pair surely seeking more playing time moving forward, which Tottenham can give them.

Joao Cancelo, John Stones and Bernardo Silva may be out of Tottenham’s reach, but Nathan Ake should be on the radar for Spurs if they do look into a Kane deal.

Should Tottenham sell Kane to Manchester City?

Letting Kane go is a tough call, as he is Tottenham’s talismanic striker but he seemingly wants to leave.

£100million plus players is appealing, though Daniel Levy won’t want to be seen as the man to sell the greatest Tottenham striker of modern times.

Levy surely won’t land £150million or £200million for Kane given the current climate, but this is a move that Tottenham have to at least think about.
