Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.
According to Diario Gol, Liverpool have approached Madrid regarding the possibility of signing Benzema in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).
The 30-year-old striker is one of the best players on the books of the Spanish giants and is a key player in Zinedine Zidane’s side.

The France international has been at Madrid since the summer of 2009 when he joined from Lyon for a transfer fee reported by The Telegraph to be worth £35.8 million.
It was reported by The Telegraph at the time that Benzema had spoken to Liverpool’s bitter rivals Manchester United but eventually decided to switch to Madrid instead.
Benzema has been superb for Madrid since his move back in 2009, playing instrumental roles in Los Blancos wining La Liga twice and the Champions League thrice.
