Gary Lineker has said on Twitter that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City could pull ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are the three contenders for the Premier League title this season.
City are the defending champions and hammered Leeds United 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.
Liverpool got the better of Newcastle United 3-1 at Anfield in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
Chelsea were also in action on Thursday evening, but they drew 1-1 with Everton.
City are now at the top with 41 points, Liverpool are second with 40 points and Chelsea are third with 37 points.
Verdict on Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Lineker believes that Liverpool and City are in danger of pulling ahead of Chelsea.

A three-horse race
Chelsea were really disappointing against Everton.
Yes, Rafael Benitez’s side were organised and defensively astute, but Chelsea should have done much better.
However, in our view, Chelsea are still very much in the race for the Premier League title.
After all, Tuchel’s side are only four points off the place.
And remember, City have lost two games in the Premier League, so they are not averse to dropping points.
