Dembele is out of contract at Barcelona at the end of the season, and Liverpool are among the clubs interested in the French forward.
TEAMtalk reported in October that outgoing Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards wants to sign Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
However, according to Sport, Barcelona are optimistic that the 24-year-old France international will renew his deal.
The Spanish publication has claimed that everything seems to indicate that Ousmane Dembele will put pen to paper on a new contract.
Barcelona are reportedly due to hold talks with the 24-year-old’s agent this week.
